Danatec by We Know Training is excited to announce changes made to the Ground Disturbance Supervisor Training course in compliance with the 2019 Ground Disturbance 201 Standard.
Produced through the Alberta Common Ground Alliance (ABCGA), the Ground Disturbance 201 Standard was updated to address amendments made in 2018 to the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, Alberta OHS Code and Alberta OHS Regulation.
Danatec by We Know Training has been partnered with Global Group of Companies for many years to bring their globally recognized Ground Disturbance Level II® classroom training course to an eLearning format.
The online ABCGA-endorsed course is designed for managers, supervisors, planners and employees who are required to supervise, develop or plan any form of ground disturbance.
Participants in this updated Ground Disturbance Supervisor Training course will become familiar with and fully understand all regulations and variances involved when a ground disturbance occurs.
Employees who have previously completed the Ground Disturbance Supervisor Training course are not required to retake the training if they are still within their 3-year certification expiry under the same employer. However, employers must communicate the changes to OHS legislation which may impact their workers.
Danatec by We Know Training is in the business of sending people home safely to their families and part of their mission includes providing training materials that are always updated to any regulatory amendments in order to ensure our customers remain safe and compliant.
